lol @ richie’s comment, amazing yes, beautiful yes, talented yes, but class, no. Sorry man being on set getting paid to film your talent (that we love of coarse) is not class. Love ya Asa but some guys
@jj: I have to disagree. In any profession, there are individuals with class and those who lack any semblance of it. In the adult film industry, there are, obviously, a fair share of classless individuals who are qualified for the field only because they have functional genitalia and tolerate/enjoy penetrating or being penetrated in various orifices.
However, there are a number of performers who do have class, and Asa is, in my opinion, one of them. She is beautiful and talented, as you said, and one of the joys of viewing her work is trying to decide when we’re seeing a talented performer acting and when we’re seeing a woman truly enjoying what she’s doing. It’s to her credit that she comes across as genuine more often than not, regardless of the actual experience she’s having. However, the class aspect is evident in a number of ways. First, she shares the spotlight whenever possible, always mentioning her fellow actors and often her friends. Second, she maintains a constant persona which, if not real, seems real and allows her fans to bond more with her than with others – she’s not just in it to get paid and ignore her fans (or, if she is, she’s classy enough to hide it well). She keeps us updated with many aspects of her life – enough that we see her as a person and not just as a sex toy that breathes. She’s an astute businesswoman.
Yes, as part of her profession, there has to be a fair bit of sexualization of herself. Shy porn stars don’t tend to make it very far. It’s inherent in the field. But compared not only to others in her field but also to professionals and, really, people in general, I think she does have a lot of class. She’s clearly bright, she’s clearly aware of the role – and roles – she plays, and she knows her audience is mainly composed of people who use her work to get off. Nevertheless, she makes us feel as though we’re a part of it all. I don’t know her, and the closest I’ve ever come to interacting with her was that she once replied to a computer-related comment of mine (that I didn’t reply back to because I was on vacation and just saw it). But I get the strong impression that she is a fun and good friend to those she sees that way and a classy representative of her profession.
Sex isn’t inherently non-classy, and performing sexually doesn’t mark someone as classless.
You’re so pretty!!!!!!!!!!!! xoxo
I like before. Can I have that, please? LOL! Hit me up on twitter, Asa.
Your amazing and you still have class
